My first book in the German-speaking world with Lutz Geissler, the “bread pope”, was an absolute revelation to me!
Baking at the highest level and with the highest standards – that suited me very well and I found myself in his book. That was a good thing, because I hadn’t worked with him before. No one can hold a candle to Lutz Geissler, not even trained bakers, I have to say. We produced during the Corona period, with masks and tests, of course.
We were rewarded with the silver medal, GAD 2022, and won the German Cookbook Award in 2021 in the category “Bread”. At the Swiss Gourmetbook Award 2022, the book received the silver medal.
