Lürzer’s Archive – Motif No. 1

“Motif No 1”– a former lobster factory in the harbortown of Rockport, Massachusetts – is one of America’s most painted and photographed building. The fishing shack – erected in 1840 – has become such a popular icon of New England’s maritime life that the local artists dubbed it “Motif No 1”. Pinhole photography.
